how do i switch my baby from hypoallegenic formula to regular milk based?

he’s 5 months and his doctor suggested i’d go ahead and try Enfamil Lipil b/c he was on nutramigen b/c of his fussiness.. How should i do it. just switch them, or do it gradually?

We did it gradually, try one bottle a day then increase to 2 the next, etc. I never mixed the formulas together, but that is me.
